As a result of his immense success, transparency, ethical and honest business practices, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is often the target of fake allegations, negative news and paid media channels trying to defame him. Normally, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani would not give any heed to such allegations as they are completely baseless and waste of time. Most of these allegations would be discarded by the media and the people due to their ludicrous statements. Furthermore, there were no evidences supporting the claim and till now Miriam Mwanawasa has not responded to queries asking for any proof or evidence of her claim. On the other hand, Dr. Rajan Mahtani issued a statement explaining that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has never made such requests or demands from the Mwanawasa family. In this press statement, Dr. Rajan Mahtani said that Levy Mwanawasa was a close friend of him for years and in no way he would make such a demand, that too after the sad demise of the ex-President of Zambia.
As a result, the press statement clearly indicated that it was scandalous, malicious and defamatory for the daughter of an ex-President to accuse an honest and ethical businessman like Dr. Rajan Mahtani of trying to ‘inherit’ the family property. In this press statement, Dr. Mahtani also said that this negative post resulted in serious backlash against him and his business reputation and as a result, he will take appropriate actions against her with respect to this fake news.
