Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani Clarifies Fake Allegations, Will Be Registering Case

Zambia is a developing nation. The company is marred with significant corruption and unethical practices, bringing those down who are trying to establish honest and ethical businesses. However, there are few businessmen who have successfully maintained an ethical and transparent business reputation and Dr. Rajan Mahtani is one of them. As a result of his straightforward business nature, he is consistently attacked by scrupulous and corrupt parties. There have been many fake campaigns, negative news and reputational attacks on Dr. Rajan Mahtani but these attacks often fade on their own.

While the latest attack on Dr. Rajan Mahtani is not surprising, the individual behind the attack surely surprised everyone. Networking, professional and personal business relationships is a common aspects for notable businessmen in Zambia. As such, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has made numerous networks and contacts and few of them have been close friends of the businessman for a long time. One of them was late former President of Zambia, Levy Mwanawasa. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has maintained a transparent and long-standing friendship with the former President of Zambia and as a result, it was surprising to see the daughter of the late ex-President to launch allegations on the businessman. Miriam Mwanawasa shared a Facebook post in which she alleged that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani wanted to inherit the farmland at Masaiti district belonging to the Mwanawasa family. This social media post started spreading like fire, damaging Dr. Mahtani’s reputation. As a result, Dr. Rajan Mahtani decided to take action by launching a press release.

A press release was launched in which Dr. Rajan Mahtani clarified the rumours and the fake social media post. In this press release, Dr. Rajan Mahtani clearly stated that he never made any claims of taking over the farmland in his friendship with the late ex-President of Zambia. As such, the Facebook post was found to be ludicrous and malicious and Dr. Rajan Mahtani will be taking actions against this post.
